Trick-or-Treating in Southeast Texas: 2026 Trunk-or-Treats by Town

Trying to figure out where to take the kids trick-or-treating this year? We found 44 trunk-or-treats, fall festivals and Halloween candy stops happening around Southeast Texas from Saturday, October 17 through Halloween night on Saturday, October 31.

There are events across Beaumont, Port Arthur, Nederland, Port Neches, Groves, Orange County, Lumberton and Silsbee. Twelve happen on Halloween itself, while the rest are spread across the two weekends before and a run of weeknight events starting Tuesday, October 27.

Trunk-or-Treats in Beaumont

Calder Place on Halloween Night

If you're looking for traditional neighborhood trick-or-treating in Beaumont, Calder Place is the long-running Halloween-night option. The neighborhood sits off Calder Avenue between 19th and 23rd Streets, with homes that are known for decorating for Halloween.

Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31 this year.

Beaumont Trunk-or-Treats

The Beaumont Police Department Trunk or Treat gets things started Sunday, October 18, from 2 to 5 PM at 255 College Street, with treats and Halloween activities for families.

On Saturday, October 24, the Crazy Cajun Trunk or Treat runs from 1 to 5 PM at 2310 N 11th Street. It also includes a vendor show benefiting Ray's Hope Charity.

Later that day, A Classic Kind of Halloween runs from 6 to 8 PM at Classic Chevrolet, 3855 Eastex Freeway.

Sojourn Community Church has its trunk-or-treat Sunday, October 25, from 4 to 6 PM at 1860 W Lucas Drive.

Tuesday, October 27 has three Beaumont options. Lamar Institute of Technology holds its fourth annual trunk-or-treat from 5 to 7 PM in the U-drive in front of the Cecil Beeson Building, 855 E Lavaca Street, with 20 decorated trunks, candy, drinks and music.

CHRISTUS Southeast Texas follows from 6 to 8 PM at St. Elizabeth, 755 N 11th Street. Hocus Pocus: Recovery Is Our Focus, a sober trunk-or-treat from SETX Sober Social, runs from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at The Forge, 268 Pearl Street.

On Halloween, Tricks, Treats & Main Event runs from 3 to 6 PM at Main Event Beaumont, 5380 Rexora Drive. Doors open at 2:45 PM. It's free for all ages with an RSVP on Eventbrite, and includes a trick-or-treat trail, bingo, costume contests, face painting, pumpkin decorating, photo backdrops, a live DJ and treats from local vendors.

Beaumont Fall Festivals

Spookfest at Spindletop Boomtown is Saturday, October 17, at the Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum, 5550 Jimmy Simmons Boulevard. Sensory-friendly hours run from 5 to 7 PM, the costume contest is 6:30 to 7:30 PM, and family fun continues from 7 to 9 PM. Admission is free.

Museum Madness: Pumpkin Walk and Fall Festival is the same night from 6 to 9 PM at the John Jay French House Museum, 3025 French Road. The night includes a haunted tour of the 1845 house, a haunted hayride, kids' Halloween crafts and a pumpkin contest. Admission is $5 for ages 4 and up, with free admission for ages 3 and under, members, and SNAP/EBT cardholders in groups of up to four.

Ghosts, Goblins & Gardens is Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM to 3 PM at Beaumont Botanical Gardens, 6088 Babe Zaharias Drive. The sixth annual event has games, crafts and live entertainment, and admission is free.

The Chick-fil-A Dowlen Road Fall Fest is Thursday, October 29, from 5 to 7 PM in the parking lot behind the restaurant at 4050 Dowlen Road, with a trunk-or-treat, games and activities.

One to plan ahead for: Main Event requires a free RSVP. You can reserve through Eventbrite.

Trunk-or-Treats in Port Arthur

Central Mall-o-ween is Saturday, October 24, at Central Mall, 3100 FM 365. Trick-or-treating through the mall runs from 1 to 3 PM while supplies last, and the Spooky Farmers & Crafters Market runs from 11 AM to 4 PM.

On Sunday, October 25, Trunk or Treat at The Temple runs from 3:30 to 6:30 PM at 4101 Highway 73 with carnival rides, hot dogs, games and candy.

The YMCA of Southeast Texas Fall Festival is happening the same afternoon from 3 to 6 PM at the YMCA Port Arthur Branch, 6760 9th Avenue. Admission is free.

The Medical Center of Southeast Texas 6th Annual Trunk or Treat is Tuesday, October 27, from 5 to 7 PM outside the hospital at 2555 Jimmy Johnson Boulevard, with decorated trunks, Air Rescue and food trucks.

The Port Arthur Trunk or Treat is Thursday, October 29, from 6 to 8 PM at the Robert A. "Bob" Bowers Civic Center, 3401 Cultural Center Drive.

On Halloween morning, Family Fun Day: Spooktacular runs from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Museum of the Gulf Coast, 700 Procter Street. The museum is co-hosting with Chester Moore of Higher Calling Wildlife, and admission is free.

If you're doing Central Mall-o-ween, get there close to 1 PM. The candy is available while supplies last.

Trunk-or-Treats in Nederland, Port Neches and Groves

Nederland

Monsters in the Park, the City of Nederland's fall festival, is Saturday, October 17, from 5 to 9 PM at Tex Ritter Park, 1500 Boston Avenue, with games, activities and bounce houses.

Two Nederland trunk-or-treats happen on Halloween. Hillcrest Baptist Church runs from 4 to 6 PM at 3324 Park Drive, while NVC Nederland runs from 4 to 7 PM at 3606 Hwy 365 W.

Port Neches

La Torcia Brick Oven Pizza's 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat and Block Party is Sunday, October 25, from 11 AM to 3 PM at 2701 Nall Street, with special guests for kids and plenty of candy.

Later that same day, Street Treats on the Ave runs from 5 to 8 PM along Port Neches Avenue at the Chamber, 1110 Port Neches Avenue. Local businesses hand out candy from decorated trunks, with food trucks and family activities. Admission is free.

Pumpkin Palooza is Wednesday, October 28, from 6 to 8 PM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 2006 Nall Street, with trick-or-treating, games, snacks, crafts and an age-appropriate spooky house.

Groves

The Oak Grove Community Trunk-or-Treat is Thursday, October 29, from 4 to 6 PM at Oak Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 6230 Warren Street.

Peace Lutheran Church Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat is Halloween from 4 to 6:30 PM at 5801 W Jefferson Boulevard, with free food, games, a maze and trick-or-treating.

If you want to make a full Sunday out of Port Neches, La Torcia starts at 11 AM and Street Treats starts at 5 PM on October 25.

Trunk-or-Treats in Orange, Vidor and Bridge City

Orange

The Orange Public Library Storytime Trick-or-Treat is Wednesday, October 28, at 220 5th Street for kids ages 0 to 5. The library's Drive Thru Trick-or-Treat follows Friday, October 30. Both are free.

The First Baptist Church Backyard Carnival is Wednesday, October 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM with games, candy and booths inside and out.

Three Orange trunk-or-treats are happening on Halloween. Party in the Patch at Faith Methodist Church, 8608 Martin Luther King Jr Drive, runs from 1 to 3 PM on the pumpkin patch's closing day with games, candy and activities.

Team Granger Trunk or Treat runs from 4 to 6 PM in the lot across from Granger Chevrolet, 2630 MacArthur Drive, with free hot dogs and candy. Another trunk-or-treat at 3406 Edgar Brown Drive runs from 4 to 6 PM and is open to all ages.

Pinehurst and West Orange

The City of Pinehurst Safe Trunk or Treat is Halloween night from 6 to 8 PM in the Big Lots parking lot, 2260 MacArthur Drive. Anyone interested in decorating a trunk can sign up at peckhoff@cityofpinehursttx.gov or (409) 886-3873.

McDonald Memorial Baptist Church's Trunk or Treat Parking Lot Party is Wednesday, October 28, from 5 to 7 PM at South and Broad Street in West Orange.

Orangefield and Mauriceville

Two Orangefield churches have trunk-or-treats on Sunday, October 25, both from 5 to 7 PM. First Baptist Church Orangefield is at 9788 FM 105, next to Dollar General. First Christian Church of Orangefield is at 4234 FM 408, with a bouncer, hayride and food.

The Halloween Festival at Leslie's Place in Mauriceville is Saturday, October 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at 11261 TX-12. There will be face painting, apple bobbing, trick-or-treat booths, hot dogs, nachos and drinks. Admission is free.

Bridge City and Vidor

The La Torcia Brick Oven Pizza Trunk or Treat in Bridge City is Sunday, October 25, from 3 to 7 PM at 1125 Texas Avenue, with candy, games and photo ops.

Vidor's BOO BASH in the Park is Friday, October 30, from 5 to 9:30 PM at Conn Park, 19075 I-10 Frontage Road. It includes a trunk-or-treat, pumpkin contest, bounce houses, games and a movie in the park.

Trunk-or-Treats in Lumberton and Silsbee

Two Lumberton trunk-or-treats happen Sunday, October 25, and both run from 4 to 6 PM.

The FWC Lumberton Trunk or Treat, 341 N Village Creek Parkway, has pony rides, a petting zoo and candy. The Calvary Baptist Church Lumberton Campus Fall Festival, 395 Fletcher Road, has a trunk-or-treat, games, frito pies, popcorn and cotton candy.

The Southeast TX Costume & Candy Crawl is Halloween from 10 AM at 1534 S Main Street in Lumberton. Entry and treats are free, with door prizes, vendors, food trucks, a haunted ambulance and a s'mores roast. Lumberton Farmers Market & Vendor Fair co-hosts.

The ALC Trunk-or-Treat at Agape Life Church in Silsbee runs Halloween night from 5 to 8 PM at 1710 Hwy 96 Bypass.
