← Part of our Things to Do in Southeast Texas guide
Southeast Texas has picked up a surprising number of new places over the last few months. Some are the kind you notice right away like a new restaurant on Calder, a fresh storefront in Port Neches, while others are tucked into strips you may have driven past without realizing anything had changed.
Between July and September 2026, we found 15 new restaurants, shops and local businesses across Beaumont, Orange, Port Neches, Vidor and Silsbee. Amongst the list are Greek food, birria pizza, a bookstore, permanent jewelry, boys' clothing, vintage finds, fishing gear, Pilates and more.
There's also more coming such as Kirby's Arcade which is currently getting ready on Calder, Eloy's that is looking to take shape in downtown Silsbee, and Bubba's 33 which is due in Beaumont before the end of the year.
